Conference of Mayors’ National Dollar Wi$e Campaign is excited about its partnership
with the City of Akron and America Saves. Tough economic times like these show that you
can never predict when financial difficulties may come your way. The Savings Communities
initiative is sending the message to Akron residents that making small changes in spending
habits can allow you to begin building savings right away. Through a local coalition of
employers, faith-based groups, nonprofits, and others, we are working to build a support
network for participants. Together, we can show that being prepared for a rainy day and
